HELP CONSERVE OUR WATER RESOURCES!
RiverLink is partnering with the Town of Black Mountain to offer FREE rain barrels. Register today to receive a 55 gallon barrel, rain barrel kit, and installation instructions. Free rain barrels are limited to residents of Black Mountain. Registration closes June 1, or when supplies run out! Note: A downspout is required for this type of rain barrel.
Pickup for rain barrels will take place on Saturday, June 5 from 10AM-1:00PM at 100 E State Street, Black Mountain. RiverLink staff will be on hand to answer all your questions and demonstrate how to paint and install a rain barrel. We will also have a fun and educational activity for kids, so stop by and see us even if you are not picking up a rain barrel.
Did you know that rain barrels are a great way to conserve water for your garden? They also cut down on your monthly water expenses, and reduce the amount of stormwater runoff that goes into the French Broad River. When you install a rain barrel, you’re conserving valuable water resources and supporting RiverLink’s mission to promote the ecological vitality of the French Broad River.
Thank you for registering for a FREE Rain Barrel!
Your support helps conserve our precious water resources and protects the health of the French Broad River watershed. A registration confirmation is on its way to your inbox now.
