Are you interested in learning more about native wildflower habitat? Do you want to boost your wildflower ID skills? If so please join us on Saturday, April 10th at 10:00 AM for a Spring Wildflower Walk in West Asheville! (exact location and directions will be shared upon registration)
In order to ensure the health and safety of our staff and participants we are limiting registration to 10 people, and ask that all attendees please wear a mask.
We will be walking on dirt and grassy paths, so please wear appropriate shoes and dress for the weather.
The Spring Wildflower Walk will be led by RJ Taylor, RiverLink's Land Protection Manager. RJ has a deep love for, and appreciation of, the natural world. His passions include the study of native plants, natural habitats and work on river systems. RJ holds a Master's Degree in Geology and certifications in wetland sciences and environmental studies. He feels that his role as a steward of the natural ecosystems and the landscape is an important calling in his life.
