RSVP for River Cane Work Days

Work with us to protect this vulnerable stand of river cane from being overtaken by kudzu. Work days will take place from 10am-12pm and are recurring weekly every Thursday starting September 14th until November 16th.

Please indicate what date(s) you would like to volunteer out of the dates listed below:

September 14th - September 21st - September 28th - October 5th - October 12th - October 19th - October 26th - November 2nd - November 9th - November 16th .

We will meet at the public parking lot at 8 River Arts Pl., Asheville, NC 28801 at 10am. From there, it is a short walk along the greenway to the river cane stand.

RiverLink will provide all necessary tools and equipment. Closed-toed shoes are required and long sleeves and pants are highly recommended. We also recommend everyone bring a water bottle.
